Wordless Wednesday - She's Growing Up...



My Miss Celeste - just turned 15 months old.
She's changing so rapidly now. The baby is fading and the independent toddler emerges almost hourly.
She is no longer content to lie across my arms, all baby-like. Even when sleepy, she will fight to be upright; a sure sign she's moving on.
My eldest daughter took these images while she was on the change table.
Changing her has become a wrangling experience these days, often requiring two people, as she is unwilling to co-operate with even the smallest of plans.
I am always looking for small distractions to coax her will gently for my own benefit.
Crayons were my saviour in this instance.

    My kids are changing too quickly, my middle quiet boy has now become a chatterbox just like his big brother which everyone has commented on the last few weeks. My 7 month old is trying desperately to not be a baby anymore. Such a shame they grow up too quickly.

  3. Bahaha I love the ones with the crayons on her head. Hayley is already a wriggler when changing at 7 months. Shes just worked out how to touch her feet when I say wheres your feet so now I say that and she just holds her feet the whole time its great. Probably wont work for much longer though.

    1. I wish my eyelashes were half as pretty as a baby's - we need to buy them in boxes to get the same look!
