Were you aware that Mater Mothers' Hospital in Brisbane has just passed a fantastic milestone in December 2014?
Just a short while ago, on December 19, 2014, the Mater Mothers' Hospital welcomed baby number 10,000 into the arms of his proud parents. Baby Coates arrived safely and his birth was warmly celebrated by more than just his parents and family...
Well done Mater Hospital on reaching such a feat! 10,000 of anything is significant - 10,000 babies is nothing short of miraculous!
Other interesting statistics from this respected Mothers' Hospital include 46 babies being born on the day of Thursday the 20th of March 2014 and September 2014 was the busiest month for births with 900 babies entering the world. There were also a staggering 447 multiple births, made up of twins and triplets.
With such significant numbers, it is not surprising to learn that one in seven Queensland babies arrive in the world at Mater Mothers, making the hospital Australia's largest maternity service.
I have introduced readers to Mater's services and products here previously and you can read specific reviews of these items in greater depth here.
Mater Mothers', in-keeping with their exceptional care of mums and their babies, also produce a range of high quality mother and baby care products. We have road-tested these delights previously and I am so happy to recommend such a beautiful range.

I would love to try the Mater Baby Wash 500ml for my baby's soft soft skin!
ReplyDeleteMater Body Balm sounds just what every mum needs. When your belly swells it gets so itchy and I tried so many moisturisers during my first pregnancy which still left me itching away. This product sounds light but nourishing and being made of natural products I'm sure it will provide all the necessary goodness. Reducing that itchiness and hopefully helping combat more of those pink/purple stretch marks, I'd be happy.
ReplyDeleteThe body balm for my tiger strips!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try baby wash, because I'm after the gentle and natural products to clean my little one's sensitive skin.
ReplyDeleteI'm all for a bit of "mummy pampering" so I'd love to try Mater Body Balm for pregnancy.
