My favourite Christmas memory was visiting England where I was born when I was seven. We played conkers, stayed at my grandparents' farm and even had a white snowy Christmas. My sister and I even snuck down to the tree at 3 am in search of presents ... and started unwrapping! I remember being very promptly returned to bed! (Judith Maunders)

ReplyDeleteMy favourite christmas memory as a little girl was to visit Aged Care with my dad and share a Christmas cake with everyone there. I enjoyed watching their happy faces - Now i take my son with me to share treats with Aged care people.
I want to win this prize because my kids have never been to Santa's Magical kingdom and would be over the moon if they get a chance to go there this year.

I have never been, but I would love to take my kids! They are already so excited about Christmas and ask me every day how many more days to go!

I love Christmas for the happiness and laughter it brings my children. Family, food, and great atmosphere. Santa's Magical Kingdom puts a sparkle in my kids eyes :).
ReplyDeleteRenata Marchionna - I've been truly blessed with several Christmas memories throughout the years. There have been many Christmases and many memories. However, my favorite Christmas memory occurred when I was seven years old. Although today's typical seven years old child do not believe in Santa , during my childhood, my community of seven year old friends did. Not only did we believe in him, we could not waiting until Christmas morning to get the one toy, fruit, nuts and candy that he always brought us.
ReplyDeleteI would love to take my kids here to create memories of the magic of Christmas
ReplyDeleteMy favourite memory was terrible at the time - I slept in, went downstairs and my santa sack was empty - I started howling hysterically, not to be consoled because santa hadn't visited me - then I discovered I was looking in my sisters already opened bag....I really want to go to this because it look SOOOOO much fun. I took the boys years ago, so would be lovely for the youngest to get a turn!

ReplyDeleteI use to as a kid open up all my parcels from Santa, then rewrap them all again several times just to live the experience over, and over again for the day. It was very exciting! Love to take my children to see Santa's Magical Kingdom so I can relive the excitement of Christmas with them. Great memories to look back on. Kerrie Smith on facebook.

ReplyDeleteOne of my favourite Christmas memories was when we got a trampoline for Christmas, we were so excited..... what I now realise is that it was a 2nd hand trampoline that was gifted to our family. It didnt matter though because it was new to us :) It taught me as a parent that to make Christmas magical, doesn't need to cost lots of money but in love, kindness and quality time! (BeckAndrew)
ReplyDeleteI can't just pick one favourite Christmas memory; I've been blessed with beautiful Christmases that each have their own special memory.
ReplyDeleteSome include: receiving an Aerobics Barbie when I was eight, seeing my parents dance together in our loungeroom to Christmas Carols on record, seeing the delight on my children's faces when they realise Santa has been, and enjoying my father-in-law's delicious lamb spit feast...

Best Christmas memory was when my 3 yo son and 7yo daughter sneaked out of their room on X'mas morning and cooked breakfast in bed for my husband and I using the wine, cookies and carrots left for Santa and his sleigh. It tasted horrible but it was still the BEST Christmas Brekkie ever. Entrant: Marlene Tham
