Bellabox Bellababy July Review - The Stay At Home Mum Limited Edition...

It's time for another exciting peek inside the latest from Bellabox Bellababy. This month, it's a super-special limited edition collection for July. Why so special? The picks inside this parcel are a part of a unique collaboration between Bellabox and Stay At Home Mum's, Jody Allen. If you're not familiar with the Stay At Home Mum website, then you've just got to check it out! Have a little looky, and make sure you follow Jody's fab SAHM site on social media - then pop on back here to read on...

Introductions done and dusted. Jody, (blogger extraordinaire) has come up with some of her all-time favourite products, and Bellabox has sourced these to make an exciting month of goodies available to their subscribers. Lucky me, I get to try out the spoils of this exclusive partnership and I am loving this month. (Especially that lipstick, stay-tuned!)

Some of my favourite brands are in this set and I am not quite sure how SAHM and Bellabox managed to stuff it all into that pretty little yellow box! It's so much fun to crack open a Bellabox parcel at any time. In case you don't know, Bellababy is a special parcel designed for mummies of little ones. There's delicious bits and bobs inside for both to indulge in, during this special time in life.

This month, I warmly welcomed two new full-sized products into my bathroom cabinet. Let's begin with the sunscreen by the Cancer Council. (I can hear you thinking - 'Sunscreen? In Winter?!')

Everyone should wear sunscreen year-round to stave-off the ageing process. (I have worn sunscreen every single day since I was 16! I wouldn't be without it.) This biggie is wonderful. It's a full 75ml just for the face and it has a light tint with 30 plus UV protection. This product is ideal for both maintaining your skin during the winter months, and giving you a sneaky glow that might not otherwise be there. I have purchased this brand in the past and can personally vouch for its effectiveness and coverage. RRP $14.95 available at Priceline and Chemist Warehouse.

Sukin also makes an appearance inside this month's parcel. I think we all know and love Sukin. It's a beautiful Australian brand of skin care that is so well-priced and an absolute pleasure to use. This 250ml Botanical Body Wash is sulphate and paraben free. It's another full-sized addition at 250ml and is RRP $7.95. The product is incredibly gentle. I have been a regular user of this one, (again) and it's gentle enough to use on your face and in your hair. (I do anyway!) Naturally lovely.

For the babies, Bellababy have some expert additions that are bound to be used and loved by mums and bubs. Dreambaby's Outlet Plugs are a parenting essential for keeping little kids' fingers and toys, safely out of power points. Personally, we're still using these throughout our home with our kids of all ages. I don't think you can ever be too careful. RRP $3.95 for a 12 pack.

For teething, irritable youngsters, Brauer is included this month with their Baby and Child Teething formula. It's an oral liquid and a homeopathic product containing chamomile. Suitable from birth, it's bound to make some happy duos. 100ml RRP $17.99.

Have you ever tried dry shampoo? Oh boy - essential product! No matter how unwashed your hair, a quick spritz of Batiste Dry Shampoo and voila! Transformed! Hair instantly goes soft and smells amazing. This is an ideal size for your handbag, nappy bag or gym bag. RRP $4.95. Need!

After a long lipstick hiatus, (because of my inability to source a colour I actually liked well-enough to purchase), along comes this amazing red lipstick by Karen Murrell. Dedicated lippy-wearers can spend many hours sourcing the perfect red, and for me, this one was zero effort and spot-on!

This is a natural lipstick proudly containing no nasties. The stunning colour shown is Rymbarhythm and comes at RRP $30 from Karen Murrell.

MooGoo Eczema and Psoriasis Cream RRP $18.50 for 120gm. This is surely an essential inclusion for mums and bubs this winter. The air is so dry at the moment and this cream is there to combat those effects; a little helper to take-along with you that's all natural and effective. (It is anti-fungal and wound healing too, so ideal for little bumps and scrapes.)

BetterBump bars were a staple when I was breastfeeding. These are a tasty and decent-sized snack for busy mums, which are enriched with essential vitamins. They are low GI and contain no added sugar. They're quite delicious too. Who needs to be pregnant or breastfeeding though, to enjoy these? Great for the handbag for emergencies or to munch in the car. RRP $25.80 for a 12 pack.

Yay! More lip balm! I just love Burt's Bees branded products as they are full of natural loveliness and are effective too. I have not tried this flavour before in the Burt's Bees range, so I am looking forward to doing so, just as soon as last month's Bellabox lip balm runs out! RRP $6.95.

This special Stay At Home Mum Limited Edition Bellababy box is priced at $39.95.

  1. Hmmm I'm thinking a Bella Box would make a FABULOUS birthday gift for the makeup loving Miss 19 ...

    1. She would love it! My eldest daughter is a subscriber at 16 and loves receiving her parcel. :D

  2. What a great idea! I used to subscribe to BellaBox pre-baby but had no idea they have a baby edition.

    1. Time to re-think your subscription?! These boxes are full of value. We love receiving them each month. :)

  3. I canceled my subscription after six months. We were just drowning in products. We culled a lot when we move, so I'm tempted to re-join. I probably need one aimed at teens, with three teens in the house.

    1. With so many in our family, we've plenty of users. Teenagers are big fans of the parcels. My daughter subscribes to Bellabox and she is so excited by her monthly arrivals. Sample sizes are fantastic stand-bys too.

  4. I love Batiste dry shampoo and that cherry one smells divine! The Karen Murrell red lippy looks beautiful, haven't tried anything from that brand before either!

  5. Oh wowser! What a fantastic edition, I think it's great that BB is branching out to cater for more niches :)

    Lily not Louise

  6. What great products this Bellabox has in it! I especially love the lip products!

  7. I have never tried dry shampoo. I remember when I came home with my last baby and not showering for three days, it would have come in handy then! I've been tempted to subscribe to Bella Box, I used to love getting them every month when I was younger.
