Bright Star Kids Review - Father's Day Gift Ideas to Treasure and A Giveaway...

It can be incredibly hard to find decent and meaningful gifts for dad when Father's Day rolls around each year. This annual event only seems to offer the 'same olds' in the ideas department when it comes to manly gift suggestions. You all know them well: socks, undies, stubby holders and key rings. Yadda-yadda... All are a little boring and yawn-inducing in anyone's opinion.

It's stupidly-difficult to find something stand-out and unique, even surprising for dad. Furthermore, men tend to prefer useful things too, (hence the popularity of socks) just to make a hard task almost impossible.

All of this combined, adds up to a bit of a headache for the rest of us where gift-giving is concerned.

This year, take a breather! Have you considered something personalised for dad, that doesn't cost the earth and rates top-notch on the useful scale? Bright Star Kids have you covered for Father's Day in 2016. (Make that any day.)

We've featured Bright Star Kids here on Six Little Hearts in the past. They're an online store who specialise in practical and useful, personalised attire and gear. They're especially well known for school supplies, from name labels to bags, clothing, wall art and so on.

Well hello to men's T-shirts just in time for the annual Father's Day event, that are different! Bright Star Kids have again sent us a selection of their fab Tees to share here. (And taken some of the pain out of shopping for the big day for this family!)

I was excited to discover these adorable Tees on the Bright Star Kids website. For once my youngest and her daddy can be a very special pair this Father's Day and beyond, in some matchy clothing.

For dad, we chose this Road Massage Men's T-shirt. (More to come on this one.) For our youngest, a bit of a super-hero theme was appropriate in this Daddy Is My Hero Tee.

Is there a cuter way to say I love you and keep on saying it, for a kiddo?

It was a case of straight from the parcel and onto their backs with the pair of them! Bright Star Kids had our order to our door in around ten days. The new Tees are fabricated in strong, 100 percent cotton with vibrant prints and are overall, great quality.

This adorable children's Tee is available in a huge range of coloured prints and clothing styles on a white base. The Tee pictured is the puff sleeve version. It's also available in a plain Tee version (for boys), as well as onesies and bibs for dad's smallest fans.

Talk about affordable too. This cute little shirt is only $24.95 and is available up to a size 6-7!

New T-shirts are this exciting when you're three!

Once the excitement settled over her own new shirt, all the attention quickly fell upon Dad's new top which caused quite a stir.

The front of this men's Tee is a plain white, so very versatile for when dad is feeling all grown up. That enticing road map was spotted on Dad's back pretty quickly however, and our kids were close at hand with their toy vehicles and ready to drive in no time!

This is a massage Tee for the World's Best Dad. The idea is, dad lies down and the kids play - instant massage, plus some peace and quiet. (I want one of these too, though I doubt it would work as well for mums!)

Wooden London vehicles from Sweet Elephants.

Brrrrmm!

What a fab gift idea!

There are lots of great designs for dads and little ones over on the Bright Star Kids website. If you're struggling with the lack of choice elsewhere this year, give these a go for a fun and useful gifting experience. While you shop, stock up on some school supplies too. Orders over $60 qualify for free shipping or pay just $10 for Express.

Happy Father's Day Daddy!

  1. Bright Star Kids have some awesome designs on their website!! It's a sentimental time of the year for a lot of us who have lost a Dad or are not in contact. I know my daughters and grandson will make the most of our day together as we have for many years.....and they always wish ME Happy Fathers Day (because they always tell me I do the job of two parents hahaha)

  3. My kids dad is getting some lights for the car roof rack he does not have yet. The roof rack has to wait till next year as I found a great deal on the light.

  4. Great post! We are actually giving my husband a tee from Bright Star Kids for Father's Day - the music massage tee. He also wants socks and boxers. BOOOOORING. I'd love to win this for a friend's family - they've hit a rough patch and I think the voucher would help them out with a few labelling essentials before the kids start kinder next year.

  11. We loved the tees as well. Although Nathan is still not game enough to wear the tee with musical instruments on the back - he's a little too scared that the older kids will totally go nuts drumming on his back!!!!

  16. I think I would end up claiming that massage t-shirt! Who doesn't love massages? I think this year I'll give him a 'dad day'. He can go fishing, get home and relax watching footy. No lists, no chores.

  17. A massage t-shirt would be the perfect Father's Day present. The father in this house is always asking the kids to come and tickle, a mini road map would be the perfect tool for this! Ashley Beech

Their Dad is always available with his time and support. He is their perpetual motion coupled with unconditional love. What a beautiful way to personalise that.

  22. Hubby loves a massage so this would be perfect. I've heard of Bright Star kids, had no idea they did clothing.
My Dad is getting scratchie tickets, this year, the same as every year. Good thing he likes them :)

  23. We were going to give dad a lawnmower for Father's Day but I went to Bunnings and had no idea which one to get! So he's getting socks and whatever the kids buy him at the Father's Day stall. He'll have to go and get his own lawnmower! Shannon Wotton

  24. We skipped the bought gifts this father's day and gave handmade gifts that the kids made at Kindy. Poppy got a handmade painting as well. Sometimes it's not about what's spent but what's "meant" by a gift :)

  25. I gave my father a photo book that I made. It contains 100 pages and it's called through the years. From when he was little, to us kids and then his grandkids. Like a timeline you can say.

  27. Every father is different, and with three to cater for my choices were almost impossible! However one thing dads' all have in common is their love for food! MY dad got a goodie bag, the kids dad got a superman mug and a toolbox my son made at school and their stepdad got some fruchocs. The way to a man's heart really is through their stomach!
