Sesame Street Presents Elmo's Super Fun Hero Show and A Family Pass Giveaway Worth $200! #SLHFeaturedThursdays

Did you know Sesame Street has entertained more than three generations in their forty year run? It's undoubtedly one of the top educational children's programs on television, teaching everything from the ABC's to counting, life lessons and music appreciation. In that time, nearly every one of us have grown up with the Sesame Street gang and many remain big fans still.

Sesame Street are coming to Australia this October (until December) in their Australia-wide premiere and it's time to get excited, whether you're young or old!

As one of Sesame Street's all-time favourite characters, Elmo now has a show all of his own to prove it! Sesame Street Presents Elmo's Super Fun Hero Show is a live musical performance that sees Elmo and the gang on a very important mission that will inspire your own children.

Super Sparkleheart arrives on Sesame Street - a cheerful caped visitor who takes all your furry favourites on a magical musical journey and helps each discover their own inner 'super power' that makes them special in an everyday way.

During the show, Cookie Monster learns to share, Elmo cheers up The Count and Abby, Zoe, Big Bird and Grover each learn of their own abilities too.

The show is crammed-full of the magic that Sesame Street is famous for: music, singing, dancing and the life lessons of co-operation, sharing and tolerance. Make sure you plan to see it! The show is visiting most of Australia and all the venues, dates and ticketing information can be found on the Life Like Touring website.

Sesame Street Presents Elmo's Super Fun Hero Show arrives in Melbourne on Saturday the 29th of October before visiting Sydney, Newcastle, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Mandurah and finishing in Perth on December 3rd, 2016. Visit the official website here.

  2. My little girl barely sits down for more than 5 minutes in front of the telly...unless it's for Elmo! She looooves him, and I would love for her to go to this show and show me that she can sit down for more than 5 minutes!

  7. I'd love to treat my little girls to a fun day out filled with important life lessons and strong morals with lots of dancing and Sesame Street fun thrown in! I really do love cookie monster myself (he reminds me of myself whenever there is a cookie in close proximity!) and would love to see him in the flesh or should I say fur! Amanda Ree

What a treat it would be for me to take my granddaughters to see the Sesame Street Characters. To share that experience with them would be wonderful.

  9. I would love to take my little boys along - although with baby number three getting closer and closer it would be lovely if my parents could take the boys along. I grew up being taken to shows with my Nana in the school holidays and I have the best memories of it. My Mum has already taken the boys to see Disney on Ice {which we also used to do with my Nan}. Such beautiful memories.

  15. I love Sesame Street, I'm a huge Big Bird fan, I'd love to take my children so they can love it as much as I do (and use them as an excuse to see it)

  17. I know a family who would love this. They moved over from the UK a few months ago and are attempting to find their feet in a different country and different way of life. They may be in a different country, but Elmo is still the same. Their little girl would love to see him in real life. She just had an Elmo cake for her birthday!

  19. We would love to win this for the sole reason that my toddler adores ELMO so much that Hoot from Giggle and Hoot has been demoted. His favorite songs include Elmo's Letter of the Day and Sesame Street Alphabet. Aside from all these reasons, we live near Mandurah and it is absolutely convenient for us to bring our child to his first ever Elmo concert!!! Exciting! Thanks so much for making this opportunity happen! xx

  21. Cookie Monster is my fave,
when he's around there is not a cookie you can save.
I'd really love to go to the show,
and I guess I'd even let my family go.
With baby number three, work & more,
it sure would be great to walk out our door,
    watch the Sesame Street guys,
    and strengthen our family ties.

  22. My kids are facing a world where the superpowers of celebrity role models include turning alcohol into regret, and wearing pants that defy gravity to stay pulled up. I'd love to take the family to this show full of our favourite characters to help enforce that lesson that real "super" powers include tolerance, sharing, and uncoordinated dancing. Even if Elmo can't keep pants on either ;-)
