Bellabox Review 'Beauty Inside Out' Plus Bellababy 'The Natural Edition' and A Special Reader Discount Offer for February

February already and another Bellabox and Bellababy to enjoy in this last of the summer weather. (Well, hopefully the good weather continues for a few months along yet.) The theme of this February's Bellabox is 'Beauty Inside Out' and that it is. I was so thrilled to discover two full size makeup products inside this month's parcel, along with an array of other 'me only' delights to enjoy. So much to appreciate!

A new fragrance to enjoy - Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom - divine!

Sometimes beauty parcels can be a little hit and miss in that you may not receive an item that you love or you may receive a colour that may not have been your first preference. (Beauty parcels are a fantastic way to try all the goodies out there.) Bellabox totally nailed it for me this month though, with the inclusion of this NYX Baked Blush Illuminator and Bronzer - a fist-pumping perfect for me! Being fair-skinned and having a definite preference for natural palettes in my makeup repertoire, I couldn't have been happier to be the new owner of this delicate pink called Journey. This blusher provides a sheer and luminous finish - luminous being another standout feature I search for in my makeup products. I just love this. (Thank you Bellabox!)

NYX Baked Blush Illuminator plus Bronzer in Journey can be applied wet or dry. 6.5gm RRP $11.95 at Priceline.

The next full-sized goody in February's Bellabox, was the Majic Beauty Eye Majic shadow. Did you know there was such a thing as instant eyeshadow? Seriously, what a great concept! To use this product, just apply the Eye Majic wand directly to the eyelid with a firm pressure. Your eye makeup transfers from the wand onto your lid flawlessly and in an instant. Again, my parcel contained a fantastic neutral shade which was ideal for me. Majic Beauty Eye Majic comes in a two pack for RRP $2.99 and is available from Majic Beauty. Worth a try? Yes!

My third bestie this month - the Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Mini Mist. I am not entirely sure how this product came to be classed as a mini as it's quite huge at 88ml. I want to toss this in my handbag, but seriously, that thing is getting so overloaded with my 'can't-leave-home-withouts!' This will just have to languish in my makeup bag where the sight of it will prompt me to wear it daily.

Just recently I realised I had ceased to wear perfumes on a daily basis. (I happened to be out on a walk and was struck by just how many women I passed along the way, were wearing stunning signature fragrances.) Quite unlike me! I used to be an avid fragrance wearer.

How did this happen?! Why save fragrances for special occasions only?

I have since been actively spraying myself for a little personal boost each day. It's working; I feel flash again! This pretty Cherry Blossom fragrance is worth its ample weight. (It's a pretty package too, don't you think?) 236ml RRP $26 available at Chadstone Shopping Centre and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.

I am always on the lookout for a daily sunscreen for my face that provides high sun protection and makes an excellent makeup base in its own right. I'd say this pocket-friendly sample size of Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunscreen Lotion SPF50 Plus is all this and some. This product is very light weight and soothing with a non-greasy matte finish. It's quite perfect and with 4 hours water resistance, I will be purchasing this mini again in its full-size. (85ml RRP $14.99 available at Priceline and Chemist Warehouse.) It's on my shopping list already.

Samples, samples, samples! Find a couple of Avon sachets from their Anew range in this month's Bellabox. These are from Avon's first ever pre anti-aging skin care range. At this stage I have not tried them but they do sound good, with promises to target up to nine years of micro damage. Skin goals here I come!

Tea always goes down well in our home. I look forward to trying this Twinings of London Morning Tea. ('Beauty inside out' remember?!) This weekend, I shall plan to wake myself gently with a fancy brunch and a hot cup of breakfast tea before I depart my bed. The teas from this range are available in 4 limited edition designs by inspiring Australian women: Nicole Kidman, Carrie Bickmore, Emma Freedman and Samantha Harris. Each design benefits a nominated charity. I'll drink to that! (Great little handbag or lunchbox additions too.)

Finally, two products that I already use and love made their way into the February edition of Bellabox: Klorane Shampoo With Quinine and B Vitamins and Klorane's Conditioner With Pomegranate. Both products are designed to restore volume and thickness as well as strengthen hair keratin. These little French lovelies come highly recommended. Klorane Shampoo is available at Priceline and Chemist Warehouse in a 200ml size for RRP $13.95.

  11. I have been toying with the idea of subscribing to BellaBox Baby but I wasn't sure if I'd end up with a heap of tiny little samples I wouldn't use or if the samples provided are a decent enough size :)
