April Bellabox and Bellababy Unboxed Plus A Special Reader Offer & Mother's Day Gift Preview...

It's time to unveil the goodies within the little blue parcels that are Bellabox for the month of April. Can you believe the speed with which each month travels at this time of year? I seriously feel as though I just published my Bellabox March review and here we are again at the doorway of a whole new month!

Anyways, this Bellababe just loves sharing a peek within these monthly treats here, and I truly enjoy trialling all the latest in beauty goods even more. There's no better way to refill your bathroom cabinet, makeup bag, or, (in the case of a Bellababy parcel), your nappy bag or change table caddy too. There's always a pocket sized treat to give you convenience on the go, or a new product entirely to road test. You never know just what you will discover inside a Bellabox.

April's Bellabox theme is Beauty Tribe and the focus is all about the face. (And a little hand care too!)

Winter is certainly a shizzy period for most, and it's a time of the year to really focus on your skin care routine so as to avoid suffering from dry, dehydrated and generally troublesome skin.
Bellabox April has the goods to get you started.

This month subscribers can languish in some small delights, the first of which comes from Nivea. Try a cute squirt of Nivea Cellular Anti-Age Volume Filling Pearls. This product aims to increase skin volume, refine contours and provide wearers with a feeling of 'lifted skin' while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I think that has just about everyone's skin goals covered!

Next up, is a full size Eco Tools Pure Complexion Sponge. (RRP $14.99 at Eco Tools.)

The colder months are really very dulling on the skin. By giving it a gentle polish daily with a tool such as this, to apply your cleanser and exfoliate at the same time, you can genuinely improve the performance of both your product and your outcome. This is a handmade sponge which softens with water and is made of 100% natural ingredients including Konjac vegetable fibre. (This by the way is a renewable perennial root plant that is starchy in a way similar to potatoes.)

Avène makes a double appearance in the April parcel. Find two mini samples of their products - the Avène Tolerance Extreme Cleansing Lotion and the Avène Tolerance Extreme Cream. (Both sound ideal for the cold don't they?!) These French products offer protection to the skin's natural barrier and aim to soothe redness and tightness. You can find the Avène range at Priceline and Chemist Warehouse. I know this label from experience and they are both great products.

Hand cream lovers rejoice! There's a great barrier cream by Nutraplus in the April Bellabox - the Nutraplus Barrier Hand Cream. The title of this product says it all. This hand cream has a light texture that locks in moisture without so much as a hint of greasiness. Pop it on under your gloves and keep a tube in your pocket for emergencies. I will be seeking this one out again in stores. You can buy this at Priceline and Terry White Chemists and a 50ml tube will hardly set you back at $7.50. This is a winter essential for everyone.

Finally, Korean beauty product enthusiasts will enjoy the inclusion of the Monomola Peel Off Lip Tint. To use, gently and accurately apply a thick layer of the product to your lips using the simple applicator. Wait 8 minutes before peeling the lip product away to reveal tinted lips! The tint is long wearing which means there's no need to constantly apply top-ups or even pack a lippy. This is a fun product. You can grab a 15g tube of this playful amazingness online via the Bellabox Shop.

(Bellababy subscribers can score $10 off their first purchase over $50 at Bubba Blue. Find the discount offer on your inclusions card within your Bellababy parcel.)

Mater Mothers' Baby Moisturiser (far right).

Good things come in small pots and every mum will love this Halgania Calendula Hand and Body Butter. The scent of this formulation is just beautiful due to its blend of botanical extracts and essential oils. Find out more about this brand at Halgania.com.au.

All mummies have scars and there's a tube of Dermascar Ultra Plus C and E to work on those bothersome areas. This topical cream contains silicone which softens and flattens areas of damaged skin while relieving itchiness too. I have been wanting to try this product for ages so I am very happy to have scored a 15gm tube of gel worth $39.95 in April's Bellababy. (Available at Chemist Warehouse and Priceline.)

For looking good in a flash, mums can enjoy this pint-sized Klara Kiss Proof Liquid Matte Lipstick in a perfect neutral that will suit just about everyone.
