Vtech KidiGear Walkie Talkies Review and WIN!

Remember playing with walkie talkies as a kid? They were tons of fun. Thanks to Vtech Toys, they still are!

These fab Vtech KidiGear Walkie Talkies were sent to us for review just prior to Christmas, and they have burned through several sets of batteries since they arrived in our kids' hands! Read on to find out why your kids will covet these and enter our exclusive giveaway to win a set for your child!

We may have played with walkie talkies ourselves once but I can assure you, those clunky toys from our own childhoods are beyond compare with the pro tech embodied within Vtech's KidiGear Walkie Talkies.

Vtech's KidiGear Walkie Talkies will send your kids off on exciting adventures, both indoors and out. For parents, you will be rewarded time and time again with an opportunity to catch some rare me-time. These are a must-have!

These walkie talkies for kids offer the chance to play all sorts of games over a safe and secure connection. They have a whopping 200 metre / 650-ft range and can only connect to another Vtech KidiGear Walkie Talkie.

The design of Vtech's KidiGear Walkie Talkies is mature and stylish with a backlit display which makes them highly appealing to kids aged 5 and up. In addition to the fun to be had playing hide and seek and chatting from different locations, these walkie talkies have four fun, two-player games built-in. Kids can play Card Matching, Treasure Hunt, Where Is It? and Racing in real time.

Kids can also enjoy the fun of the voice changing effects. There are 4 funny voice effects to giggle over. There's even picture messaging to keep kids engaged. Our two think these walkie talkies are massive fun!

Stylish design and whizz-bang features appeal to modern kids. Requires 6 AAA batteries.

Grown-ups will get in on the action too. I use these sometimes to communicate with a child who may be playing outside. These help to keep up with the whereabouts of your children in the disguise of play fun! (And they are fun for adults too - still!)

For more information, visit Vtech's website. Vtech's KidiGear Walkie Talkies are RRP $49.95 and are available at Big W, JB Hi-Fi, good toy stores and online retailers. Please feel free to enter our giveaway below - you just might win a set of your own!

I'd love to win this prize,
The kids won't believe their eyes.
We go camping and exploring quite a bit,
The walkie talkies would be a huge hit.
The eldest and her dad always walk off ahead,
While I'm at the back with our slightly slower and younger red head.
Or the kids can all have fun playing games outdoors,
Or use the walkie talkies to co-ordinate their chores.
