Instant Relief for Dry, Itchy Skin with Dermal Therapy Little Bodies, Plus Giveaway

Are you looking to effectively relieve your child's dry, itchy skin? Maybe you too are suffering from this common affliction? Dry skin can appear suddenly and most of us have experienced the awful itch that is associated with it. Don't suffer the irritation or try to ignore it. Jump into action fast with effective and targeted products by Australia's own Dermal Therapy.

Dry skin can be triggered by various irritants. Consider seasonal weather changes, air-conditioning and heating, hot showers, exposure to chemicals or unsuitable creams, washing liquids or powders, stress, medications, food allergies and even swimming to explain some of the common causes of itchy and uncomfortable skin conditions.

When extremely dry skin becomes angry, red and excessively itchy, it can set-off persistent and stubborn issues which are both difficult to endure and treat. Skin in this state is usually considered to be afflicted by contact dermatitis or eczema. (Do always check with a GP or skin specialist to be certain.)

Anyone can develop an aggravating, itchy skin condition at any stage of their lives. Prevention is always the best way to deal with these ailments and for those who are especially prone - young children, the Dermal Therapy Little Bodies range can really help.

To treat or prevent dry, itchy skin all-over, go for a basic body moisturiser such as Dermal Therapy's Little Bodies Eczema Moisturising Lotion. (Pictured above.) This large 175ml skin-friendly lotion blends into skin easily to soften and protect. With this comforting cream, enriched with 2 percent colloidal oatmeal, expect instant relief and skin support. Designed specifically for use on children from 0-12 years of age, adults too can benefit using Dermal Therapy Little Bodies products. RRP $14.99.

Itchy scalp? OMG! I have so much personal experience with this condition!

Incessant itching of the scalp is so irritating. It is actually very common-place to experience a maddening itch on the scalp. Constant scratching can lead to dandruff which can be an unsightly sign of an excessively dry scalp. (It can also mean the opposite too - oily scalp.)

Babies, children and many adults are pained by this malady. Scratching your head, (as with your skin), just inflames the situation even more. So frustrating!

The Dermal Therapy Little Bodies Eczema Wash and Shampoo is a highly effective treatment for itchy, burning scalps. Designed for use in the bath as a combined body wash and shampoo for children, it can also be of use in the shower. It also works equally well on grown-ups.

I can definitely recommend this product based on experience - I use this to wash myself and my hair with great success. RRP $12.99.

Itchy eczema breakouts can appear anywhere on little bodies. Outbreaks can usually be spotted on the face, (typically dribble areas on babies), as well as in the folds of skin on the elbows or behind the knees. All are common places for itchy skin eruptions.

Apply Dermal Therapy Little Bodies Eczema Relief Cream on these areas for instant relief and moisturising benefits. (Pictured centre above.) RRP $14.99.

  4. Such a beautiful range for sensitive skin. My husband suffers with eczema and so do my poor children; sometimes genetics can be cruel! Dermal Therapy is amazing and is the only product we've found that seems to provide relief. At least at home, my kids can be easily treated, but my husband suffers worst on his feet and it is exacerbated by wearing shoes all day long. Thankfully Dermal Therapy lotions keep it manageable but we go through soooo much with so many having sensitive skin in this household. We would absolutely love to win this xx Emily Potts-Humphrey

  5. Dry skin is not just uncomfortable but can be painful and prone to infection too. I’ve used one of Dermal Therapy’s footcare products in the past and was highly impressed with its effectiveness. Would love to try their eczema range too. Soothing and pampering my family’s skin helps to protect us from small issues that can escalate into worse quite quickly...and keeps us all lot happier. -C.
