A Christmas Story

'For centuries children have gone to bed on Christmas Eve hoping to hear Santa’s reindeer on their roof.

They struggle to sleep and wake up early hoping to find their Christmas stockings filled with sweets and the family Christmas tree surrounded by large quantities of presents.

But when did Christmas gift giving start? And who was the inventor of it all?

Established journalist Louis White has crafted an enchanting tale of Christmas and the legend behind it all in his new children’s book, ‘A Christmas Story.'

Telling the story of a young man named Nicholas who gets lost in a forest and is forced to build shelter to survive, ‘A Christmas Story’ embarks on an enchanting story of how Nicholas befriends some reindeer, builds them shelter and starts to make presents in order to remember his family.

One day a lass by the name of Mary stumbles by for some blueberry pie and together they extend the idea to make toys for boys and girls all over the world and to deliver them on the night before Christmas.

‘A Christmas Story’ is a fun-filled exciting journey aimed at children 4-8 years old who can enjoy the beautiful illustrations by Nandina Vines and words by Louis White either by themselves or with their parents.

‘A Christmas Story’ takes up back to the simple pleasures of life and the joy of putting others before ourselves.

“Christmas shopping last year I found that there was a lack of Christmas books for kids so I thought I would put pen to paper and that’s how St Nicholas came to life.” White said.

In a different story about how St Nicholas brought joy to children at Christmas time, acclaimed journalist Louis White has taken a journey to write a story of St Nicholas about one of the world's most loved characters worldwide, and lovingly became known as Santa Claus.

In the lead up to Christmas, they hatch a plan to deliver toys across the world and the story of St Nicholas was born.

Speaking about the book, author Louis White said he wanted to bring a different spin on the story of St Nicholas.

“This book has been written to highlight the story about St Nicholas who was once a young boy and how his generosity continued across his life.” Author Louis White.'
