We're well into the summer school holidays now. My kids have been sleeping in and rising late, spending the majority of their days on screens despite the beautiful weather outside. All that is going to change sooner or later though - especially after we received a new bundle toys for review from Vtech!
Vtech are renown toy industry leaders and have a huge and popular selection of toys to offer children of all ages. Naturally my kids like to try-out the newbies as soon as they arrive. Really, what kid wouldn't?
First up for review is the sensational Vtech Marble Rush Adventure Set. This is a hyper-thrills marble run kit which kids can assemble themselves for maximum satisfaction. Why is it so good? Size, quality and Vtech electronic enhancements make this the king of marble run toys. We have had others over the years, but none were as great as this exciting set.
Vtech's Marble Rush Adventure Set is filled with fun challenges and feats, proving itself to be everything a good toy should. There's excitement, adventure, creative thinking plus valuable problem solving skills built-in to this mega-set.
This colourful playset with 10 large plastic marbles delivers a barrage of fast and exhilarating thrills and challenges!
It's a big and impressive build. A step by step colour-coded guide is included. My 9 year old spent a good hour building it and without any assistance whatsoever. There are three levels to build ranging from easy to advanced which cover ages 4 plus. (Younger kids may need assistance to build some of the more complex arenas.)
The Vtech technology is a total enhancement to this marble run set. Carnival lights and music plus a battery operated Ferris wheel really fuel the fun when the action starts. My two youngest kids were screaming and laughing for two whole hours playing this together! Their excitement attracted the rest of the family to play too, (including me!).
Shoot marbles from a cannon to complete the complex run. Set includes numerous entry points for marbles, an electronic Ferris wheel that collects balls effectively and drops them accurately into place every time.
Enhanced with frenetically paced carnival music and flashing lights, the fast-paced action is on!
Great for one child or more for a fun challenge.
Find the sensational Vtech Marble Rush Adventure Set, (plus other sets in the Marble Rush range), at Myer, Target, good toy stores, online retailers plus Kmart and Big W. Recommended for ages 4 plus.
This set includes 135 pieces, 10 marbles and a fully illustrated colour building guide. Set requires 5, AAA batteries to operate the music feature and Ferris wheel. The RRP is $89.95 for this mega Marble Rush Adventure Set.
We highly recommended this toy, for everyone!
Sports fans of all abilities can perfect their aim and game with this fantastic Vtech KidiGo Basketball Set. There are five fun games built-in for up to five players. Not just any old basketball hoop - this is a Vtech enhanced sporting item. Kids will enjoy the digital scoreboard, interactive lights and sound effects such as crowd-cheering when their ball goes through the hoop.
Designed to attach to doorframes or curtain rails via two padded hooks, this electronically augmented basketball hoop will keep kids active and on their toes for hours. Everyone has taken to this game in our house, including my basketball obsessed 15 year old son who has scored himself a place in a prestigious basketball academy this year.
Vtech's KidiGo Basketball game includes a soft 12cm ball suitable for indoor play. The hoop itself can fold up making storage easy, so there's no need to remove the hoop when your child has finished play. Five games are programmed into the hoop including Hot Potato, Score Challenge, Time Challenge and Colour Challenge. Kids can obviously also play just regular hoop-time.
This indoor game is great for honing hand and eye coordination plus burning off excess energy. It's super-fun anytime and suitable for all ages from 5 years plus. Comes complete with backboard and hoop, one lightweight basketball and two padded door hooks. RRP $59.95. Easy to set-up and install, this game requires 4, AA batteries to operate its fun features.
Available in stores now at Myer, online retailers and good toy stores.

ReplyDelete10 year old CJ loves our wobbly, very well used old marble run that belonged to his older brother and sister. It's always a favourite when his cousins come around - 5 boys from 4 - 14 would absolutely love it...and so would I not having to hold ours steady and constantly fix blockages! The Vtech technology is sure to be a hit! S.M.S - Save My Sanity! 😜. Kylie Embury

My eldest built his little brother and sister a marble run out of so many scrap things and car racing track at the start of the holidays. It was great fun. They even had time trials for the different coloured marbles. It couldn't be moved or brought inside though and the rain eventually destroyed it. An indoor one with sound would be fun.

ReplyDeleteIt’s been great to see your post in the link up for Life This Week at Denyse Whelan Blogs.
I look forward to seeing you again next Monday if you have a post to share. Thanks so much. Denyse.
We'd love the challenge of setting up the launch pad,
ReplyDeleteThe twists, tunnels, jumps, and then there's the fun of seeing the marbles run....
It's been over a year, and we're hoping to see grandma and poppy super soon, cousins, aunties and uncles too,
It would be awesome to have an activity that young and old can be involved in when we have our big catch up.
Along with the catch up cuddles, I just know these marbles with bring about plenty of cheer :)
Happy New Year!

VTECH makes amazing quality kids toys built to last and so good for their imaginations. This is the first time I have seen this marble rush and it would be so appealing to my kids. Great to built and good for my son's fine motor skills.
ReplyDeleteCongrats you're a winner too! Will be in touch. :D
DeleteImpressive V Tech I will admit I didn't realise the product range included toys for older children like the marble rush which would be a hit in this house now we no longer have a child who can choke on the marbles! It would be a great inside activity for my 3 boys (under 8) who are getting a little stir crazy in this crazy flood/burn weather and good for their cooperation skills which are good but always could use refining
ReplyDeleteLydia R
This sounds ideal for your sons. CONGRATULATIONS winner #1.
DeleteThanks So very much. It arrived today and they cooperated well to rip the box open
DeleteLOL! You're so welcome. It's a really fun toy so I know all about that desperation!
DeleteMY LITTLE WOULD LOVE THIS! Vtech has great products and this would give the Little hours of hands on learning fun which is needed because of receptive and expressive language disorder.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this for the kids in my family
ReplyDeleteHours of entertainment for the kids. My son loves building things and would love the Marble Rush to build and see all the different ways it would work.
