Vtech Kidizoom Studio Review

Is your kid a fan of YouTube? All of mine are. Especially my youngest, who often watches YouTube Kids. I like that, as I know she's entertained while I watch movies and documentaries on Netflix, Stan and livestream TV.

Over the years my kids have expressed a desire to make their own YouTube videos. It always required use of my mobile phone however, and I was not willing to share this expensive device with my sticky-fingered, clumsy kiddos!

Had this Vtech KidiZoom Studio camera been around in those days, I am sure that my older kids would have made hundreds of videos by now!

Vtech have filled a need with the new KidiZoom Studio. This is a camera with the lot for kids who love to take pictures and explore HD video making concepts. There are so many good features and included equipment to experiment with. There's a tripod/selfie stick, a wrist strap as well as a Micro-USB cable. There's even a Green Screen cloth to use with the KidiZoom Studio's inbuilt tech features.

Adult assistance and a screwdriver is required to open the camera hard case in the packaging.

The camera is rechargeable and gives kids up to 2 hours of continuous use.
Use the included USB cable to upload pictures and videos to a computer as well as charge the device.

Kids can take photos or produce videos using the Vtech KidiZoom Studio's creative camera effects that include frames and filters. A built-in video editor allows kids to easily edit their videos in-camera. Kids can also make trick videos by cleverly cutting scenes together. There's a cool invisibility trick to try too. Make objects appear to float and use the time-lapse creator to join images together in videos.

There are endless possibilities to create. All kids are going to be into the Vtech Kidizoom Studio.

The tripod / selfie stick provides versatility when filming videos. Pop this on a table and chat away. With the Green Screen behind, children can add any of the 20 animated backgrounds or over 10 photo backgrounds. They can even make backgrounds from their own photographs.
Sing, dance, play an instrument... be yourself or someone else!

The Vtech KidiZoom Studio camera is simple to use, comes with full instructions and an expandable  memory with the addition of a 32GB Memory Card.* (*Not included.) Kids can play video games too.

Kidizoom Studio is suitable for children 5-12 years, and is available now in the colour
blue at Big W, Target, Myer, good toy stores and online retailers.
Available in purple from mid-June at Big W stores Australia-wide.
RRP $109.95.

"I love the Green Screen because you can put stuff on it. I also like the 3 games on the camera.
I like filming myself in my own shows."  Miss C aged 9.
